GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is an essential measure to reinforce people's fundamental rights in the digital era and facilitate Online activities, by clarifying the rules applicable to companies and public bodies in the digital single market.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the legal framework that regulates the processing of personal data in Europe, as of May 25, 2018. Unlike Directive 95/46/EC, it carries over to the Portuguese legal system by law 67/98 of October 26th, which has governed these issues until now.

Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data. The GDPR comes into force directly in national legal systems from May 25, 2018, without the need for transposition or adaptation. This means that there will be a harmonization of legal regimes.

Within its technical limitations, AMSP may only process data in accordance with the customer's instructions on its behalf.

As "AMSP", we commit to:

·         Process personal data for the sole purpose of providing the contracted services. AMSP will never use the data for other purposes.

·         Do not transfer data outside the EU territory or countries with a data protection regime recognized by the European Commission.

·         Inform the customer about the subcontractors who may have access to their personal data. Currently, AMSP does not use third-party services, meaning there is no access to data by entities outside AMSP.

·         Implement high security and protection standards for our services.

·         Inform customers as quickly as possible in case of unauthorized access to data.

·         Help business customers comply with data protection regulations by providing the necessary information.

This situation covers the collection of personal data for contractual and billing purposes; for customer support purposes; for commercial and commercial management purposes; and processing employee data. This case does not include data stored by the customer in connection with the use of AMSP.

As AMSP we are committed to:

·         Limit data collection to what is strictly necessary. The customer only provides data that is essential for the operation of billing and customer support services, and for compliance with legal obligations regarding data conservation and protection against fraud.

·         Do not use the data collected for purposes other than those stipulated by the service.

·         Keep personal data for a limited period. By way of example, the data processed for the purposes of managing the commercial relationship between the customer and AMSP (e.g. name, address, zip code, email) are kept for the duration of the contract and for the time legally required by law in force. After this period, the data and its backup copies will be completely deleted from our systems.

·         Do not transfer data to entities outside the company.

·         Implement technical and management measures to ensure high standards of data security.

·         Inform customers and competent entities as quickly as possible in the event of improper access to data.

We treat your data confidentially and in accordance with national and international provisions, as well as the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
